Cuchulainn's Irish Pub (Streetsville, Mississauga)

I was in the mood to touch back to my Irish roots yesterday and try to find a nice place with some hearty Irish food, thus where I found "Cuchulainn's" (Koo-kull-uns). The pub/restaurant is located in a nice residential area also surrounded by other commercial places such as Mr.sub, subway, tim hortons etc... When I first walked in we (my family and I) were greeted by no one and we sat ourselves. After ten minutes of waiting our very unenthusiastic waitress finally decided to take our drinks as well as our food. We all decided to get an order of chips and curry sauce to keep it simple though I also decided to get an order of crab cakes because I was feeling, to say the least, "adventurous". Surprisingly I received my crab cakes before the order of chips and curry sauce, on the plate was three crab cakes on top of a bed on what was supposed to be a spicy dijon mustard sauce which led to a soggy bottom,  with two dried lemon wedges on the outside crab cakes. Unfortunately they were stone cold in the middle, obviously frozen and canned crab. I received a brand new order and this time the cakes were burnt on the outside and yet again , frozen in the middle. The chips and curry sauce were suffice, nothing extraordinary. Overall, the establishment does seems to have a nice Irish based menu, they failed to execute the time I was there. They do need to drastically improve on the waitressing/food running because the same waitress, within an hour span, dropped about 4 dishes. I give this place a 2 out of 5 overall and would not recommend going there to eat, but living up to Irish heritage the beer is great.
